Licence

Installing or using xform (“the software”) means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the software.

1. Licence granted

You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the software on Macs you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. The software is licensed, not sold.

2. Restrictions

You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the software; reverse engineer it except to the extent this restriction cannot be enforced under applicable law; remove proprietary notices; or use it unlawfully. Preset packs you create are yours; export, share, and import are intended uses.

3. Third-party providers

Cloud transforms use providers you configure under their terms. You are responsible for their charges and data handling. Optional On Device use is governed by Apple’s terms. Review model output before relying on it.

4. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. It is beta software and may change or be withdrawn.

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. Total liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts paid for the software in the twelve months before the claim, or CAD $50. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply.

6. Privacy

Privacy describes data handling and forms part of these terms.

7. Preset packs you submit

If you send a preset pack for publication, you grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, host, display, and redistribute that pack and the credit name you provide. You keep ownership and confirm you have the right to share it. Listing is discretionary and may be declined or removed at any time.
